I’m very excited to say that I’ll be returning to the Golden Eagle Danube Express in May 2027 – and this time it’s a Christie Time affair, as I’ll be joined by the brilliant Gray Robert Brown (my marvellous Swinging Christies co-host)!
On board the journey from Istanbul to Paris (16-23 May 2027), Gray and I will be giving talks about Agatha Christie, with special emphasis on her love of trains and the influence of this famous route on one (or more!) of her most beloved mysteries.
It’s an incredible journey, including stops to explore sights and attractions in Bulgaria, Slovenia, Serbia and Austria. I couldn’t tell you what my favourite part was but the Postojna Cave is a contender, perhaps second only to the train itself!
We’d love for you to join us – I loved every moment of the journey this year, and now can’t wait to do it again. And maybe Gray and I will even have time for our own little project while on board… we’ll see!
